Taylor and I both knew that these larger purchase decisions are the real make-or-break when it comes to FIRE. Stressing about whether to splurge on an expensive brand-name cold brew is one thing; stressing about a house payment is a whole other level. But as Kitces says, if you eliminate the big stresses, the little ones often go away, too.
