5 Powerful Ways to Fiercely Crush Your Mornings and Goals

At the moment I’m reading Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss and I couldn’t recommend it more! It’s a fountain of information about the mind and habits of our world’s elite performers across all areas. Here are Tim Ferriss tips:

  1. Make your bed! — It doesn’t matter how catastrophically bad and out of control your day has been. Getting home and finding a made bed gives a sense of “at least this is done properly”.
  2. Meditation — Developing a 10/20 minute meditation practice can help you a lot. Firstly, allows you to stop and recover from the stress of the day. And most importantly, at least for me, trains the ability to notice when you get in your head and start overthinking everything.
  3. Repetition — this is a simple one. Choose an exercise you like, push-ups for instance, and do 5–10 repetitions when you wake up. It gets some blood and energy flowing.
  4. Cup of Coffee — This one is a specific choice of mine. Tim Ferriss talks about tea but I prefer coffee in the morning. This is more of a preparation for the next one, but I really enjoy my mug of coffee in the morning!
  5. Reading/Writing — Read some pages of a book of your choice or write about some idea you had or saw the day before to get your mind and creativity going. In my case, this week I’m reading Tools of Titans!

I hope these tips help to improve your morning! At least for me, they did! Feel free to start with only one habit of these and work your way towards the others 💪💪
